Chloe's recovery (a miracle!!!)

Chloe is 5 years, beautiful, and so full of life. Chloe was kicked in the head by a horse on 7/8/2011. She was life flighted to SLC Primary Children's Hospital in critical condition. Chloe's brain continued to swell and surgery was performed 7/10/2011 to relieve the pressure. Part of Chloe's skull was removed to allow for swelling and she is in a drug-induced coma. Chloe is still in critical condition but she is a little fighter. God is watching over Chloe.

Chloe needs prayers please. And please pray for mom (Melissa) and grandmother (Carol). Thank you so much everyone. I will keep you informed of any changes. ***7/13/2011*** Chloe is doing a little better this morning. her brain pressure is at 11 thats good. she is still in a deep coma, so keep the prayers coming. everyone is praying at 11:00 am each day. prayer circle. 7/14/2011...This is her Mom!! Chloe had a good night last night... Chloe moved her legs and hands last night and this morning... I feel the prayers and the love.... Mike and I are over whelmed with with how we feel right now, Chloe is a fighter!!!!

Please also keep Brent Burcham in your prayers, Chloe's father. We ask God to give him and everyone strength. God will be with you Brent. Sending our love and prayers.

7/14/2011 afternoon.. Chloe is doing much better this afternoon, she opened one eye, squeezed a finger and wiggled a foot!!! She has pheumonia in one lung. still on breathing machine. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. Thanks Grandma Carol Doyle.

7/14/2011 night...Great News... Chloe woke up for a little while. She moved her finger and her leg. Still on a breathing machine. We still need all the prayers and positive energy sent her way thanks. Grandma Carol Doyle and Grandpa Doyle.

7/15/2011 morning....Chloe is doing good today, they are going to remove the tube from her head that lets us know what her brain pressure is @. They are taking the EEG machine away from her. They are also going to turn the air pressure down to see how she reacts to breathing on her own, depending on how that goes maybe they will remove the breathing tube.... Our hearts ♥ are deeply touched by all the LOVE and concern coming from all around the world. Thank you all so much for your prayers and positive energy, we still need it... Chloe's Mom...XOXO

7/18/2011 lunchtime...Chloe is doing great today. we are getting ready to go do xrays of her while she eats, so they can make sure everything is working okay. She get fit for her helmet today so hopefully we will get it today or tomorrow then we can get out of bed and start doing some rehab.. I'll update later. Thanks to everyone for your prayers. 7/18/2011 afternoon...Chloe's helmet has arrived and we are going to get it all fancy. Chloe also passed her swallowing test, and we just finished a slushy... I'm overwhelmed with all the LOVE ♥ and support... Thank you all very much.

7/20/2011...Update: Chloe got to go outside today, we took her to the garden in her fancy wheelchair for a game of hide and seek, it was great to see her smile. Mike got her a new stuffed animal that she has not let go of all day. When it was time for her physical therapy she walked from her room to the gym down the hall with the help from the... nurse and Mike. She did so awesome on the question quiz they gave her... I'm sooooooo grateful I am the mother of an AMAZING, STRONG, BEAUTIFUL little girl... This is nothing less than a miracle. Thank you to everyone who keeps Chloe in their thoughts and prayers. 7/22/2011..Chloe put her socks on today, my little girl has so much spirit. Things are looking up! Thank you for the prayers, the Doctors and the Nurses are amazed at how well she is doing, Thank you to everyone who has has Chloe in their thoughts and prayers. It means so much to me

7/27/2011... It feels so good to be home... Chloe and I are just hanging out spending time with Chloe. She is happy to be home, we go back sooner than later for her next surgery. Thank you for all the love and support.7/30/2011....Chloe is doing great considering everything she has been through. I will continue to keep everyone updated, it probably won't be as much as everyone would like. Chloe need 24/7 care so when I get short breaks I will try and let you all know. Thank you all for the positive energy and the prayers. Chloe's Mom. ♥

8/8/2011... It's been just over a month when I received that call that Chloe had been in an accident, and she was getting Life Flighted to Primary Childrens Hospital. I want to say a huge Thanks to Pleasant Grove PD, Life Flight, The Trauma Team, Doctors & Nurses who performed all the surgeries & for taking such great care of Chloe. People who donate blood. Thank You to Family & Friends for the Prayers, also the LOVE and support. Some days I felt so helpless & I would read this page, I can't even explain the strength you all gave me. 8/16/2011.... Update: Chloe had her CT SCAN yesterday, & her brain is looking good. Surgery is planned for September. Thank you to everyone who has had Chloe in their thoughts and prayers.
